Quick Pre-Gamer: Lineups, Beat Writer reports, Dodgers and their chemistry

If you overslept, you missed the lineups being announced, because some crazy person decided to make Wednesday’s game start at 9:35 a.m. With the #1 starter Madison Bumgarner on the mound, you figure the Giants have a decent chance at taking the rubber match from the Cincinnati Reds before they come on home to face the New York Metropolitans. Let’s start with the lineups:

Then, after the Dodgers 2-1 loss to the Chicago White Sox, Mark Saxon of ESPN LA put out a piece that had manager Don Mattingly talk about their lack of chemistry being a cause for their lack of success. While I don’t know how much I can agree with Mattingly there, you know there is only one person’s quotes about being able to buy chemistry Dodger fans and Giants fans can think about when going through that article. 

First pitch is at 9:35 a.m. First round player draft begins today. With the preview show on MLB Network beginning at 3:00 p.m. PST, and the Draft beginning at 4 p.m. PST. The Giants will get to choose their 14th and 52nd overall picks today.
