Tuesday night brought sports fans what may have been baseball’s defensive play of the year when the Angels’ Mike Trout hit a ball to left field that Oakland Athletics outfielder Yoenis Cespedes initially misplays, then starts jogging towards the ball until he realizes baserunner Howie Kendrick will be making his way home, then Cespedes unleashes the cannon from foul territory in LF.
